It was night and there was a thunderstorm brewing. Distant rumbling echoed in the clouds as faint flashes danced across the sky. The city was in ruins, thanks to a great cataclysm. It was a catastrophe caused by the meddling of a cult. Their symbol was the butterfly, its meaning being rebirth, however with what they had done it was hard to say if their actions brought forth rebirth or just a massacre. One thing was for sure, the face of the world
Luffy x Law - Nakama"Oi, Traffy, I don't know what happened to her!" Luffy shouted, making the surgeon cringe from his loud voice. He admitted he took a liking to his cheery voice, but now was not the time. He had to operate on one of Luffy's crewmates, and if he kept getting distracted by the captain, her condition would be fatal.simswimsbob
"Luffy, it'd be better if you were quieter," Law muttered emotionlessly. Luffy suddenly nodded contently, and whispered in a hush tone,
"Yeah, she's sleeping, isn't she?" Luffy grinned.
Law could help but smirk at that. The Straw Hat captain was beyond adorable. "Now, just sit down here and wait. It shouldn't take too long for me to heal her."

Broken Moments- OrchidRook admired the flower that Ben had situated on the windowsill in his bedroom, as Ben attempted to finish the final paragraph of his report, so the two could go on patrol....and maybe make out a little.bbb35
"This is a beautiful flower, Ben. What's it called?" Asked rook, gently touching the purple petals of the flower.
"Huh?" Turns around and see's what Rook is talking about. "Oh, it's an orchid." Scribbles something else down before putting his pencil down. "Finished!"
He get's up from his desk with a gleeful cheer, before skipping over to rook and placing his arms pleasantly around Rook's shoulders.
"Ready for Patrol?" He said this with a suggestive wiggle of his eyebrows. Rook chuckled, but turned to stare at the flower still perched innocently on Ben's window-sill.
"I am. But I'm curious, what convinced you to get that type of Flora?" Turns his head to look at Ben, who looked back with acute tilt of his head. "It just doesn't seem like you to get a plant."
"Hmmm." Ben tiled h
Broken Moments-ForeignerForeigner...that's' what they called him....and that's pretty much what Rook was...his appearance wasn't quite Alien. So, it sorta ostracized him from the other Plumbers, but he also didn't look Human enough to mingle properly with the Earthling's.bbb35
And for a while Rook was alone....he mostly did his tasks, File Work, Night Shifts, whatever and then headed home to go to sleep.
It was dull, grey and cold...then a Very LOUD and Bright Green and Brown Flash entered his life.
True, Ben Tennyson was loud, rude and stubborn...but Rook actually found those traits endearing coupled with Ben's other outstanding Virtues.
His honesty, bravery, sympathy, kindness and sense of Justice, plus; he was pretty clever, usually using his undesired transformations to fix a problem.
At first, Rook thought Ben wouldn't want to hang out with him....he CERTAINLY didn't factor in Ben falling in love with him and wanting to date him.
But Ben proudly went around Town with his new boyfriend unperturbed, ce
